100% New Zealand Trim Pork is a healthy green logo that is available to meat retailers (Butchers, Franchise Butchers, and supermarkets) free of charge from New Zealand Pork.

Only New Zealand Pork can be called Trim Pork. Meat retailers are audited to prove only New Zealand Pork is being used when these labels are used.

Trim Pork carries the Heart Tick.  This means it contains less than 4 grams of saturated fat (the bad fat) and is low in salt.

Trim Pork is boneless and skinless.  All you pay for is lean, healthy 100% New Zealand Trim Pork.

International research shows that the leanest Trim Pork cuts are lower in fat than chicken.

Only 100% New Zealand Trim Pork is guaranteed to be:

  • 100% New Zealand grown: from pigs born and raised on New Zealand farms.
  • Boneless, skinless pork trimmed to less than 5mm of fat
  • Pork that has NOT been marinated, coated or crumbed.
  • Produced according to New Zealand’s Animal Welfare (Pigs) Code of Welfare 2005.
  • Low in food miles.
  • Free from added growth hormones.
  • Compliant with New Zealand’s stringent food safety standards.
