  1. Place ham on ham stand. Remove a wedge at the top of the ham parallel to the table. Cut thin slices to the bone.
  2. Continue carving parallel to the table and carve around the bone.
  3. Carve 4 to 5 slices from this surface area. Continue carving until ham is too small for the stand.
  4. Remove the ham from the stand and continue carving along the same surface area.
