Method

  1. Mix the pork mince and coriander together.
  2. Wrap the pork mince around half the length of the skewer and press firmly.
  3. Place on a plate, cover with plastic wrap and leave in the refrigerator until required.
  4. Heat the grill or barbecue.
  5. Brush or spray the porkababs with oil. Cook for 6-8 minutes, turning during cooking.

To serve

Serve with cucumber slices and yoghurt dipping sauce.

Variations

Combine pork mince with your favourite fresh herb and serve with a sauce:

  • pork and thyme - apple sauce
  • pork and mint - yoghurt dipping sauce
  • pork and tarragon - reduced fat mayonnaise or lite mayonnaise 
  • pork and oregano - tomato sauce

Ingredients

  • 500 grams 100% New Zealand Trim Pork Mince
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander
  • 8 bamboo skewers, soaked in cold water for 1 hour
  • Cucumber slices
  • Yoghurt dipping sauce
