These pork dumplings can be fried or steamed.
Method
- Stir fry the mince and onion in the oil in a fry pan or wok until pork browned.
- Stir in the grated carrot and sweet chilli sauce for two minutes.
- Add the cabbage and stir fry the mix for a further two minutes.
- Lay out the wrappers on a board and dampen edges with water.
- Place 1 teaspoon of pork mix in centre, fold in half and crimp edges together using thumb and forefinger.
- Steam over boiling water in a steamer. Alternatively fry one side, turn and pour over ½ cup boiling water and cook until water evaporated.
- Serve with sweet chilli sauce.
To serve
Altermative idea - replace the sweet chilli sauce with 2 tablespoons reduced salt soy sauce, 2 tablespoons vinegar and 2 chopped dried chillies. After cooking serve with mix of reduced salt soy sauce and vinegar.
