Always look for 100% New Zealand Pork

Method

  1. Place pork in a resealable plastic bag or dish, add marinade, seal or cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 3 hours, turning occasionally
  2. Remove pork from the marinade, drain well and place on a preheated barbecue.
  3. Cook until the juices run clear when the centre of the pork is pierced.

Ingredients

Pork Loin:

  • New Zealand pork loin, boneless and skinless (about 500g)

Spiced Plum

  • 1/2 cup traditional plum sauce
  • 1 teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine or water

Orange and Garlic

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil

Apple and Mint

  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil, optional
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped mint
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh ginger

Sweet and Sour

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
