Friday 13th July 2012 proved lucky for some NZ butchers as 33 acclaimed judges sat down to identify the nation's most desirable, extraordinary 100% NZ bacon and ham. Winners were selected on attributes including taste, texture, aroma and appearance in pursuit of the ultimate awards - 100% NZ Bacon of the Year and 100% NZ Ham of the Year.
