Pork shoulder is a generous and flavoursome cut with nicely marbled meat, a shoulder roast is ideal for braising or slow roasting.

New Zealand pork shoulder can either be minced or diced for cooking slowly in stews, or kept on the bone and slow-roasted until tender and falling apart. The whole bone-in shoulder is a large roast, perfect in a big oven if you have guests.
